Family Owned and Operated

The Trotter family who own and operate Red Bridge Berries Wanaka.

Offering real fruit ice cream and pick your own strawberry the farm is based just out of Wanaka. Started by the Trotters on their family farm. 

Bex & Ben have many fond memories picking berries with their families in both the North Island and Canada while growing up. While living in the Waikato they would always go strawberry picking on the weekends in the summer for fresh breakfast toppings, jams and smoothies. After picking Ben would always insist on finishing the day off with a large ice cream. It was always a fun weekend activity. After relocating down to Wanaka 7 years ago we missed those weekends collecting enough fruit to last through the winter so the idea began to start a PYO berry farm for everyone to enjoy. 

We are excited to welcome everyone young and old to pop down and enjoy a day picking our sweet juicy berries.

Opening hours- Opening from approx. 18th November - End of April

Open 7 Days a week excluding Christmas and Boxing Day

Hours - 9:30am - 4:30pm
